Tube Leavenworth starting researching river tubes in 2001 and found that nobody was making a heavy duty, durable river tube that could withstand daily use and abuse. In 2002 they started manufacturing a nylon cover or "boot" for a standard commercial truck inner tube. After a summer of testing they made a few changes and went to full production for a rental fleet. Nine years later they're still going strong!
