When you're a kid, life is one big game of playing pretend. Creative expression is vital for children, especially the opportunity to tell stories and play make-believe games with costumes, musical instruments, and props. Give your child a chance to create their very own musical fairy tale this summer during a  Fairy Tale or Musical Theater Camp session at NYC Kids Camps.

Choose from two offers today:

$200 for one week of Fairy Tale Camp. Girls ages 3-5 will spend the week playing dress-up, telling stories, making music, and putting on a show for their parents on the last day of camp. Camp runs Monday-Friday from 1-4pm. Pick from one of the following weeks and themes:

• June 11 "Tangled"
• June 18 "The Princess and the Pea"
• July 9 "Sleeping Beauty"
• July 16 "Little Red Riding Hood"
• July 23 "Snow White"
• August 6 "The Little Mermaid"
• August 13 "The Princess and the Frog"

$399 for two weeks of Musical Theater Camp. Kids ages 7-12 will spend two weeks creating and rehearsing a musical, which will be performed at the end of their session. They'll learn about story creation, set design, prop making, and performance techniques. Camps run Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm. Choose from the following schedules:

• July 30-August 10
• August 13-24
