Founded in 1974, the New York Chinese Cultural Center is a not-for-profit cultural and educational institution dedicated to deepening the understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. NYCCC fulfills its mission by offering professional classes, workshops, and performances. They also support and present artists of the highest caliber that reflect rich cultural heritages and diverse communities. Their School of Arts is the country's only full-time, professional school of Chinese dance, and is the only dance school that represents the traditional dance curriculum of the Beijing Dance Academy - China's premier national dance institute. The school is open year-long to people of all ages and backgrounds.
