Fashion-conscious kids love to put their own outfits together. Give them a chance to sew their own clothes, and that's the ultimate in "making it work"! The 90-minute kids' classes at Sew New York are designed to help aspiring clothing designers, seamstresses, and costumers develop fundamental hand sewing and sewing machine skills, as well as pinning, cutting, and basting fabric.

Over 6 weeks of classes, students will design and create a pin cushion, a tote bag, and more! The classes are private, for just 1-2 students each, so that each student gets plenty of guidance from the instructor. The class schedule is as follows - choose from one of the following age groups, date ranges, and days of the week:

Dates for first round of classes, Session 1 ages 8-10:

1. Mondays, July 2 through August 6 at 4pm
2. Thursdays, July 5 through August 9 at 4PM
3. Fridays, July 6 through Friday August 10 at 4pm

Dates for second round of classes, Session 1 ages 8-10

1. Mondays, August 27 through October 1 at 4pm
2. Thursdays, August 30 through October 4 at 4pm

Dates for first round of classes, Session 1 ages 11-13

1. Mondays, July 2 through August 6 at 1:30pm
2. Thursdays, July 5 through August 9 at 1:30pm
