For $250, your kids can experience five fun-filled, educational days focused on art, engineering, NYC history, and police-themed activities (such as crime scene investigation!). They'll develop their critical thinking and artistic skills through projects such as building a roller coaster and rubber band-powered cars, and solving a mystery. The museum's experienced camp leaders will also take them on field trips to explore other museums and cultural attractions in Lower Manhattan.

The New York City Police Museum gives visitors of all ages the opportunity to learn the history of policing in New York, its role in the history of the city, and how police do their job today. The museum’s newest exhibit is The Junior Officer’s Discovery Zone, an interactive exhibit for children under ten that includes a fingerprinting station, a chance to drive a police car, and more. Artifacts in the museum date back to the Dutch visitors and include uniforms and motorcycles. Exhibits also include a pretend mug-shot wall and jail cell. The current temporary exhibit tells the story of the Mounted Unit and includes pictures and video of Police Officers who ride on horses, as well as artifacts.
