We are currently looking for affiliates to help us spread the word about our deals and help us gain subscribers. You can earn money for each new customer you bring to Plum District simply by taking part in the Plum District Affiliate Program.
As an affiliate, you send new customers to Plum District by placing a banner ad or link on your site or blog. When your users click the ad or link and purchase their first daily deal, we pay you money!

Yes, visit www.plumdistrict.com/affiliate-datafeed for specific instructions on how to embed your affiliate information into our XML RSS Data Feed. Note that when you save the data feed as an XML file, it contains additional fields such as city name, business address, zip code, date, title, image URL and more.
Anyone with a web site can participate. Sites will be rejected if they promote sexually explicit material, violence, illegal activities, or discrimination based on sex, race, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. All sites are subject to our approval.
There is absolutely no charge to become an affiliate.
You get paid 15% of your referral’s first purchase if they are new to Plum District and 5% if they are an existing customer for up to 30 days from the original click from the text link or banner ad on your site or campaign. For example, if someone clicks today, doesn’t make a purchase, but returns within 30 days, you get the commission(s).
Use the MID tracking feature provided by GAN. Simply add the MID= parameter to the end of your GAN URL and GAN will capture the value in your reports. It will help you optimize all of your campaigns. It is possible to become an affiliate if you reside outside of the United States. However, because Plum District currently only operates in the U.S., you must provide substantial proof that your site has a large U.S. audience. International affiliates are required to complete U.S. Tax forms.
Plum District will provide you with the link assets to place on your site. We do not authorize the creation and use of your own links and images to promote Plum District. If you have special needs, we can discuss alternatives with you.
First, look at the destination URL by mousing over the banner, widget a few times. You should see what URL it is going to go to in the lower left hand corner of your browser. It should look something like http://gan.doubleclick.com/gan_click....
Second, click the text link, banner or widget a few times. Then, log in to GAN and view the reports. You should see your associated clicks. There is a 1 to 4 hour delay in the reports (and on a rare occasion, longer) so be sure to allow for time between when you click and when you check the reports. If you are hosting the banner ad local, or using text links, you will not see impression counts, but clicks will be reported.
Each Plum District link on your site has a special tracking code that records when a customer has clicked through from your site and purchased one of our deals. Once a month we will provide you with a report of the transaction activity.

Absolutely. Just send us the dimensions you need to affiliates@plumdistrict.com and we will work on it right away. If you are the creative type and want to develop your own, you can, but be sure to send it us for approval prior to use. We have to make sure it complies with our branding and messaging guidelines. You can start with one of our existing banners, it will likely to be at least close to our requirements.
No. You can not earn Plum Dollars via our Refer a Friend program and at the same time earn revenu via the Affiliate Program. Besides, you will maximize your earnings by ensuring that all of the links, banners, and widgets you place on your site are from the Affiliate Program where you earn real dollars rather than Plum Dollars.
Yes, email campaigns are allowed with pre-approval. All campaigns must be compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act. Details are at www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/business/ecommerce/bus61.shtm. Please forward one of your past email campaigns to affiliates@plumdistrict.com and include how many subscribers are on the list, include the URL where subscribers joined your list, and other information that can help us approve your email campaign plans. DO NOT SPAM. We will terminate accounts of anyone who spams, and all commissions will be reversed. Do not send email to lists or groups to which you do not have permission.
